They won't. Based on politics, they won't. I think I know the winner...

Furthermore - not only I like the song in my family. I'm talking about my grandmother, 60 years old of age, likes the song.

For me. What there is to be afraid of is the Swedish reaction.
Christer Björkman, our man behind the success of the national final, and our head of delegation, hates the song... he might boycott the contest.

Ukraine will win though.

Call me narrowminded if you want but i really think it's a bad thing for the contest if the winners for two consecutive years include monsters and a shouting drag-queen.

I have to agree with Christer Björkman on that one.

south slavic country? and being south slavic is important 'cause of...??
doesn't matter wheather u're south slavic or nordic...song's what counts. and bulgarian song sounded bad last night. much better in mp3 version.

as for the greek song, it's so cheap and cliche...bad copy of ricky martin/sakis mixture. very very bad.

just for the record, I don't think serbian song is good either. but i can't see anyone else winning the esc...except ukraine. ofcourse, it will depend on performance too. will see tomorrow 8)

Yeah, Eurovision in the past really offered us a lot of great stars.
ABBA, CELIN DION, SECRET GARDEN, RIVER DANCE...
Now, it more seems like freak show..
MONSTERS, DRUG QUEEN, next year it is gonna be queer group? the simpsons? or a robot....... :(

With only around six hours to go before the result of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 is final, a quick look at the bookmakers' odds confirm the favourites that Europe has been betting on.
Bookmakers William Hill, Paddy Power and Coral all agree on the big favourite: Ukraine's Verka tops the betting with the shortest odds from all three. The three firms also concur on the second favourite, putting Serbia's Marija Serifovic just a little way behind Ms. Serduchka. Only at the third position do the bookies begin to differ - William Hill have Latvia on the third shortest odds with Belarus in fourth position, whilst the other two have the same two countries reversed.

Georgia's debut entry Visionary Dream might be a good outside bet with odds ranging from Coral's 25-1 to William Hill's 41-1. At the lower end of the scale, chances of a win for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lithuania are languishing in the lowest positions across the board, ranging from 80-1 to 100-1.

What do the figures mean?
When taking these figures into account, fans should bear in mind that they reflect not only expert opinion, but also the confidence of other betting punters, as odds are shortened or lengthened according to how many bets each participant attracts. Therefore they serve as a better indicator of public confidence in the entries, rather than an expert prediction. The only true indicator will begin in less than five hours' time!

I wonder what Verka would do without Russia? She did great money due to her russian fans only, but now if she wishes she can sit in Ukraine and make concerts for ukrainian fat and gorilka

Serbia is going to win. Maybe they will come second, if we have an excellent performance from another song that will make the surprise, as always.

And I am pretty much sure that Serbia came first in the semi-finals.

Don't ask me why I am so sure. I just judge according to my experience from previous esc and the reactions of people listening to it.

So, if we don't have a spectacular performance from another song that it can pleasantly surpise us, Serbia is the next winner.

Not to mention the geographical location of Serbia...

If the Ukraine wins I'll think that Eurovision has turned into a joke, I can see the Ukraine doing well but hopefully they don't win.
