ESC-2004
1. Ruslana - Wild dances
2. Maria Serifovich - Molitva

ESC-2007
1. Zeljko Joksimovich - Lane moye
2. Verka Serduchka - Dancing Lasha tumbai

I have voted many times for "Lane moje" in 2004! Serbia has received 12 points from Ukraine at ESC-2004! :)

I think you kinda mixed up some things :?

Yes, I did :) Unfortunately, in 2004 were fighting for the first place the best Ukrainian and the best Serbian songs, and in 2007 were fighting mediocre Serbian and horrible Ukrainian songs. Thereof phenomenal "Lane moje" has not received the deserved first place :( So I want to see Serduchka in 2004 and Ruslana in 2007, or "Lane moye" in 2007 and "Molitva" in 2004 ;) It is my humble opinion. I liked "Lane moje" very much while "Molitva" left me absolutely indifferent :)

IMO, Serbia and Montenegro should have won in 2004, and Ukraine this year, but.... :o

NOOOOO!!!! I don't want Ukraine to win with such stupid entry like Verka Serduchka :) Ruslana is better. Maybe "Wild dances" is not good enough, I like more "Skazhy meni":

I think that stopped us to win in 2004.When we reached Ukraine we gave them 10 p ,and lost every chance of winning........ :?

But who cares..........after this year's results

How about 12 point to Serbia from Ukraine? ;)
Final margin was 17 point (280-263), so Serbian 10 points to Ukraine and Ukrainian 12 points to Serbia were not of great importance

Maybe, but when you passed us on first place,we were almost in 1 point close to pass you over again, and then we gave you 10 p and made that huge margin.

I agree with Bugs Bunny... LOL, the competition was so tough that year, I remember I messed up my vocal cords because of all the shouting and screaming :D

But Ukraine was luckier :)

Yeah, it was a very tense competition. I have made 5 calls for "Lane moje" and my gf has called me the idiot when it was found out that we pretend to the first place with Serbia as the main rival and Serbia has received 12 points from Ukraine :)

I liked Ruslana very much, a good song with power. Lane Moje was great, but a different genre. Would have been okay with me if they won back then.
But, I find Molitva the best song in years, better than Lane Moje or whatever song there was recently.
In the 2004 semi Serbia-Montenegro won and Ukraine got silver, but in the final the switched places. But in the semi France, Poland and Russia didn't vote since they had not broadcasted the semi. However, if we exclude their votes in the final then Ukraine still won. (I know, the votes are completely weird then because these three countries could receive votes in the final and not in the semi but still it shows something)

Both are great songs I think, in their own way. Both did a great job on the night of the final. I still have to say Serbia had the best song, Verka made me laugh but Marija touched my heart.. Oh wasn't that poetic LOL
