Seriously, the Belgian performance was one of the biggest disappointments. But I liked the song (and the hair) so I can understand your girlfriend on this:)

Here at home we voted about 10 times at Iceland, and a few votes on Hungary and Malta.

I was so moved by Eirikur and his lovely song, so I feel very 'hurt' that it was dumped.

I really wonder if it's all about how many times you actually vote. I've heard you can cast 20 votes from one phone number? As i know the Eastern Europeans, they cast like 20 votes from EACH phone the've got )))) Land line or mobile. As I had to vote for Ruslana in 2004, I was dialing the number with two phones constantly until the countdown stopped. Some of other countries I liked got couple of votes from me, not many though... the phone bill was like OMG :-0 (it's in Grmany), but heck, Ruslana has won and that was the least I could do

So, i guess it's even more extreme in the Balkan countries. Are their calls cheaper?

1) There no 20 votes limit
2) The nuber of votes/calls doesn't count really in the long run. If 200 people vote in Andorra, they got the same ammount of points to hand out as 2 000 000 german voters....

Serbia
Belarus
Turkey

the other countries were:
Israel (but did not like the act on the stage)
The Netherlands
Denmark
Andorra
Poland (but did not sung good)
Belgium ( performance could be better)
Switzerland (BUT really bad performance at stage)

Yes. His performance was AWESOME. He was fantastic and Iceland is proud of him. Even though...Eastern Europe is a bully. Iceland was the 2nd best on stage last night. Only Serbia was better, so they got my vote (since I can't vote for my own country obviously).
Netherlands impressed me also, and Portugal did very well. My mother voted for Denmark and Portugal. Furthermore, Norway did well on stage - Guri was great, I was also expecting Switzerland or Malta to go through. But no neighbors no game, huh?
