I must say I didn't like the Montenegrin song much and I am still not very fond of it. Still, the vocal performance was good and everything turned out much better than I had hoped for. In addition, after watching and hearing all the songs live, I concluded that the Montenegrin song still deserved to be among the top 10. Of course, I don't put the votes of the people all over Europe into question regarding Montenegro. I was, however, surprised to see that some other good soongs did not qualify while some bad ones reached the finals. I would certainly support the songs such as those coming from Romania, Russia, Norway or Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The voting system is definitely problematic and I would suggest an independent EBU jury that would vote on it own and leave out the viewers. Leaving it to the audience all over Europe, with different diaspora, different inclinations and 'good neigbourly' relations means having a very biased result.

Oh,just pick Milena internally and make some good song,but not with imported composers/backings but by your own,you have some very talented there.Stefan was quite good in Belgrade,he sang flawless,but with such a bad song you can't go far....................(it is hard for RTCG to do this i know.............)

First of all, we should change the way we choose our representative immediately. I just don't understand why we should choose a singer who will represent us, when Eurosong is not a competition of singers, but songs. They should organise a competition, and they should try to attract as many composers and singers as possible. Out of that number, a jury can select 10 or 15 songs that will compete.
I would also introduce a jury consisting of 9 people. Eight of them would be music professionals, but nobody from Montenegro. Each member would be from a different country. The eight member of the jury would be the audience and I think it's enough. Anyone can organise family and friends to vote for them, so it's never fair when you rely only on the votes of the audience.
RTCG should either seriously take this business or leave it to another TV house to organise things. They cannot start with preparations in February when some countries already know who will represent them. They don't bother to distribute information about the Montenegrin representative to esc.today or any other site, including their own!!!! They have done things totally unprofessionally.
We should activate the OGAE Montenegro club and have some influence on all these activities.
I don't think we should leave the competition, although the voting system really sucks. But, if you have a good song, people will vote for you no matter what. In addition, it is always a good promotion of the country.

It's a good idea, although it could be improved. I would redistribute the countries for the Easter and Southern group. For example, Albania is next to Montenegro and it's east of Montenegro, so it's unwise to put them in different group. Albania, in my opinion should go into the same group as Macedonia, where 25% of population are Albanians. We in Montenegro have 7% of Albanian population. This is just an example. The same could apply for Serbia, Hungary or Romania, with their minorities. I mean, all these things have implications on voting and what we should have is fair voting, which we don't have now.

There is a lot of criticism in Montenegrin media, TV or newspaper, whatever, about our representative, and whole thing about Eurovision... Finally...Maybe, that will motivate RTCG to do something for Eurovision 2009.

I sent a lot of criticisms directly to RTCG but they obviously didn't see them. As I wrote earlier, the last news on their own site is dated March 5!!!!
They should either get serious about it or give someone else to organise Montenegrosong 2009.
