Avoiding excessive bad language, personal attacks and rascist or obscene behaviour, also avoids any need to ban forum members. But a failure to stick to these simple rules could ultimately lead to the banning of your IP address from the forum too. Please also keep the majority of all posts in english as far as possible.

Please avoid download linking of copyright mp3 audio and video files and rips, via links such as yousendit, rapidshare, megaupload and esnips etc. Artist, management or broadcaster approved linking is accepted, along with alternative links, such as youtube.

Please also avoid making spam posts and links to other forums, personal websites and online contests not held on this forum, which particularly also include links to copyright downloads and mp3's. Links to official artist and standard personal websites such as myspace etc, are accepted.

Spam posts will also be removed from the forum along with any posts not posted in relevant or already existing threads, as not all posts can be merged into existing threads. So please avoid the opening of unecessary threads.

eg A thread for each partcipating country exists in the ESC National Finals sections every year, to ultimately discuss the final song chosen in each case (where the relevant winning song, artist and poll can be added when chosen). So please make posts in the relevant country threads. There is also a seperate ESC section each year, for everything else not related to the final entries chosen.

Bandwith or database busting 'braindead' threads will also be removed ! So please avoid opening threads, purely for the purpose of quoting or posting dots or numbers etc, to increase post counts. Any posts or threads moved or removed from the forum, will only be done so for not following these basic rules. So continuing to re-post, could result in the banning of your account without warning.

You can also contact any of the esctodayforum Admin or esctodayforum Moderators by PM Private Message, over any concerns of the abuse of these rules, or for any other requests. (Report links which may occasionally appear at the top of the forum are for serious violations of phpbb forums only and not the general reporting of posts and forum rule breaking).
