Oooh, thanks for the reminder of this!

The original plan was for an ESC-Covers Spinoff to replace one of the NSC ESCs (as it's basically a form of NSC ESC anyway )

Now, I dunno if you timed this on purpose, but the next spinoff is in fact due to be an NSC ESC
So, I think it would be a good idea to do a covers edition of NSC ESC sometime, but we need to decide if wewant to do it for this upcoming NSC ESC 8 or not.
Of course, maybe people don't even want an ESC Covers edition, or would prefer it to be a themed spinoff rather than a rplacement for NSC ESC.

So yeah, your thoughts on this... please say

ESC covers sound interesting (although i don't really know many of them ) but i would like to have ESC spinoff again

I would suggest running the next spinoff as a regular NSC ESC but have the covers one confirmed as the next one in the NSC ESC place so that people can search for ideas in the meantime

Am I right in assuming that we'll have a second edition of the Christmas spinoff this year? I somehow just started listening to a load of Christmas-themed songs and realised I have so much choice for it!

Well it's down as a possibility in the schedule

I wasn't expecting discussion about it to start just yet but eh, Christmas gets earlier every year
I think it's a good idea, as long as everyone else supports it and enjoyed the one we had last year

christmas spinoff #2 has fell on my mind few days ago. but i don't wanna start listening christmas songs yet

Aah! It seems like ages ago that I won the 70s.........it'll be about half a year after before I get to host

i think christmas should go before congratulations. last time we had results after Christmas Day when Christmas spirit had allready passed, and 20th december seems as fantastic date for Christmas spinoff results. what do you say?
