Deleted Posts

I have posted links to some songs from this years NFs and they keep getting deleted!

my Buelrussian songs were deleted the same with the polish songs. and now the post containing the link to Trilogy -Starlight- has been deleted! WHY?

I was only providing a link where you could hear the songs.

Well the rules says:
We request you also avoid the linking of copyright audio and video files, via links such as yousendit and rapidshare. Artist, management or broadcaster approved linking is accepted, and there is also a forum section for the linking of other non-download material, such as youtube.

but If you only were providing to a link where you could listen to the songs I see no reason to delete it, I did'nt see what link it was so I can't say much... I'll hear with the other mods

Esnips is not allowed so it got deleted for the right reason :wink:

Esnips is not allowed so it got deleted for the right reason

so esctoday is no longer the place to find out how to download the songs from eurovision?

No, because last time you gave out links to your site almost half the forum got infected with some virus that you put on your page.

And linking to any place where soundfiles can be downloaded and stored on the PC isnt allowed according to rules. Except if it's from official artist/producer/record label source, example is when Bosnian official ESC page had soundiles on for download in the past few years.

and by the way... if i open a site with the links... that would not be me posting a link to anywhere soundfiles can be downloaded and stored on the PC, that would be me giving a link to a site where you cannot dowload soundfiles..

Whether you did or not do it intentionally, the fact remains that the link you posted tried to infect everyone that clicked on it with some malware. Which lead to your ultimate demise from that forum. Now please just stop posting links to downloadable files, directly or indirectly. Those are the rules of phpbb forums and we need to follow them. There are plenty of places on the net people who wish to download mp3s can do so! :wink:

and i had no idea that there was a viris on the site, and still to this day have no idea what/where is is.

Following on from what Sabrina said in the other thread too, the Basic Rules (at the top of this and some of the other sections) were made as short as possible, and had all the answers you were looking for, to save opening all the threads here. :wink:
