I think the admins here should give this guy a chance, I think he knows alot more about this software more than the admins anyways :P

Oh and I'm not that new by the way, I do fly around the forum sometimes and now got the courage to start posting lol

Well congratulations for posting :P I was just wondering, where in the West Midlands are you? I study and therefore spend most of my time in Birmingham these days :P

Thanks everyone.. although this isnt my forum so maybe its best to leave the admins to it, they know whats best for the forum :)

Although today I did make a potential style for this forum, Im quite experienced in working with the phpBB software so styling isnt a problem. Here is some screenshots from the style that I made today, If any of the admins would like to use this style on this forum then please let me know and I will send you the copy of it :)

just so its understood, Im Not trying to open my own version of esctoday.. I just wanted to see how this would look.

OOOo lol yeah I live in Birmingham myself, it's an alright place to be really. Thats the part of West Midlands lol. Where did you achually study in Birmingham can I ask? Achually answer that through pm cause we are going a bit off-topic here lol.
I seriously think that the admins should consider giving this guy a chance, he does look like the sort to really give this forum a real good turn round. I hope the admin achually do take note, haha look at me going on and on but you know what, it's important in that sence.

Rest assured, an offer for input for an exclusive forum design would never be ignored and hasn't been :o But with quite a few things to adjust and fix after the changeover, a bit too much of the time was initally wasted on certain efforts to disrupt things in the process, and take the focus away from the more important business. But that was mentioned enough elsewhere yesterday anyway

Kargo is obviously very talented at this though, so we will be in touch soon, don't worry ! An exclusive forum design for the new version, could also soften the blow for all the fans of the orginal Cobalt design too, which sadly can't be exported now, as it's not compatible to use with the new forum version. :|

But please remember the current forum layout is only very temporary too, as there were a limited number initially available with the new version, but there's also the option to change to another in your user profile, in the meantime, until there's a main new one too

sorry, scrap that bit... they were, but this design wouldn't stay as default, when allowing the other options too :P

Just another thing, there is an option for uploading files. The frequent users will know but some users might upload mp3's etc. and go against the board rules. Just a loop hole I thought about!

I'll be scared away, since I can't read white text on black background. It gives me headache (literally, not figuratively). On many forums, users may select the skin they want, among a few options. Why couldn't it be so here, too?

Yeah, sorry to sound ungrateful, but I'm not a fan of this design. It makes it difficult for me to find things such as certain buttons, and to sort out which forum member is saying what.
I personally would prefer something a little brighter.

But I have to say the amount of font colours now available is fantastic! It's possible to make some really nice text now, I imagine :D

Might be the number of objects your browser has to download. Are using dial up or broad band?
